 I
am very excited that you are considering joining us on Cruise with a
Cause ’08. This information will give you important fund raising
suggestions so that you can raise the money you need to be a part of
this mission effort. Included is information on the 2 ways that we have
found to be the simplest to raise the funds for this trip. Please feel
free to call the PraiseFest Ministries office should you have any
questions regarding our suggestions.
The first and quickest way to raise money for a mission trip is to have
individuals sponsor you. Most Christian business owners, doctors,
dentists, etc. will help you as an individual with a specific purpose.
We have had many people who have been able to raise their entire trip
cost in one day by seeking sponsors. Others were able to do this within
a week. Some people will sponsor all or half of your trip, and some may
support you with $100. If you can raise $100 per month, you will pay for
your trip easily. PraiseFest Ministries has attached the actual tools to
help you do this. Attached is a letter that you will need to customize
for your individual fundraising effort. This letter includes previous
results from our Cruise with a Cause ’06 along with future plans for the
cruise that you want to join us on. There are also ministry references
listed.
 The second way to raise
your trip cost is something that PraiseFest Ministries does to help you.
We have a reserved number of complimentary cruises to give away for
radio stations and television promotions, etc. We will hold one of these
cabins back to give away as a grand prize for an individual that
sponsors one of our "missionary cruisers". So here is how we do it.
Included in the PDF Below is a sheet of cards that you can use. Simply
print them out and as you ask people to sponsor you, you will find some
that cannot give the amounts we have mentioned above. So, we suggest
that for anyone who can sponsor you for at least $10, that you put their
info on one of the cards. Feel free to complete a new card for every $10
they give. Most importantly they are
sponsoring your mission effort. Shortly after July 31, 2008, we will
have a drawing for a FREE cruise from all of those who sponsored people.
(Please do not promote this as selling chances to win a cruise). We just
want to thank the people who sponsor others to go.
You can set goals to pay a certain amount each month at no additional
cost that will help you with your payments.
