Carefully Crafted Tours
Whatever
you are accustomed to on European and British Isles tours, you'll need to put on
the shelf because what we're talking
about here is quite different.
Celtic Dream Tours has carefully crafted these vacations-of-a-lifetime to
fit clients who have expectations far greater than the average traveler.
They dovetail perfectly with the limited number of people they tour with
(generally only 14).
No
Need To Think,
But This Not For Mind-Numbed Robots
For the most part, everything
is included on these
tours. I say "for the most part" because there are certain things that
shouldn't be included on a majestic tour. Now, I know that this philosophy
of tour construction won't probably sit well with those who judge the quality
of a restaurant by the size of the portions. They may just want to go to
Las Vegas.
However, those that purchase these vacations will understand that the proper
traveling experience includes moderation and choice.
For example,
Celtic Dream Tours does not include all dinners.
This is simply because in Scotland, most hotels
have three course dinners and it's been found that
most North Americans don't want this every night of
the week. It's just too much food
and so the hosts of this tour include just over
half of them. Besides,
It's nice to
go off and,
firstly have some time alone and secondly eat in a pub, or have a smaller
dinner some nights. This is all
in keeping with the belief that a tour should not always be one big group
activity.
This Is Not A Cruise
I know that you sell
cruises and cruises sell very well in the United States and Canada. But
there is something to be said for
for not being nickel and dimed to death on your vacation.
Unlike a cruise and
many traditional tours where all day trips are extra,
it's all included with
Celtic Dream Tours - no hidden extras. This
company goes way beyond accommodateing your
clients... they spoil them!
Built By Hand
Over my 25 years in the travel
industry, I've worked with many tour operators. One of the most unnerving
aspects of being a tour operator is the lack of control you have over the
components of the vacation. The itineraries are largely based on
where the contract ground operator decides to go and getting a good, reliable
guide can be a daunting challenge.
At Celtic, you find
things are quite a bit different. They do
ALL the
planning, all the booking and all the escorting - they
don't outsource anything! Fiona Prosser,
president and owner of the company, has
personally
been to all the hotels they use on the tours.
To run tours at the
caliber of the ones Celtic produces, you really do need to adhere to such a
demanding standard. It's what sets them apart from all of those other tour
operators you're use to selling up to now.
